Coaches nowadays want to eliminate as many unneeded rotations and closeout situations as possible. As a result, in pick-and-roll situations, many teams tend to switch. Coaches are even putting together rosters that allow players to switch across all five positions. In this basketball coaching clinic, coach Messina explains how to attack the switch and utilize both interior and perimeter mismatches. This is a must-know topic for all coaches, regardless of their players’ age and level.
